Your private shelter is waiting. Awesome at the beach, in the park, or before a game, the three-sided Cabana sun shelter provides instant protection from the beating sun or a surprise thunderstorm. Easy to pitch and anchor, it’s a secluded escape complete with front door and big side widows for ventilation. Don’t get wet or sweat. Relax and stay a while.

I have had one of these for a few years now. My main use for it is for fishing in Colorado. It's fairly compact and easy to set up. If you've ever been to Colorado for any period of time, you know the weather changes quickly sometimes. I like to set this up on the bank of my favorite lake. It blocks the wind when it's breezy, Keeps me from getting wet when I's sprinkling and when it's cold I put a propane heater inside and half zip the front so I can still see my poles but stay warm. Great idea!!! Thanks Kelty!!! Darin on Apr 2nd 2016

PROS: Lightweight, small, easy/quick setup, sandbag anchors (easy relocation) CONS: Traps heat, small, sandbag anchors don't close enough to keep sand from spilling all over (the nylon pouches need a flap to tuck on top of the sand), the floor and closing panel makes this act more like a tent than a quick shelter, the front closing panel doesn't secure well (connects from bottom to top, which throws debris from the flap into the shelter) BEST USES: kids, covered play area on a cool day in a backyard, observing sporting events from the grass, quick changing room AVOID: Sandy areas / beaches, hot weather, islands with lots of flying insects Overall: I was disappointed with the performance of the product. Aesthetics are spot-on, but the functionality isn't what I thought it would be or what I expected from a Kelty purchase. For some reason, the shelter trapped heat extremely well--despite the two mesh windows being open--and actually made me want to stay in the sun instead of using the shelter (which defeats the purpose). Next, the size is quite small, which makes it ideal for children OR 2x adults while sitting and stationary in small camp chairs). Finally, the fabric overhang on the top front prevents insects from being able to escape once they find their way in (a no-go if you're frequently around the type that fly and bite or sting). If you're looking at this product as an escape from the sun while camping at the beach, there are better choices. Tim on Jun 14th 2015
