The Trail Ridge is back and better than ever for 2016. With a long footprint, night light pockets, and the Stargazing Fly, the Trail Ridge is more like a palace than a tent. What hasn't changed is the livable space within the Trail Ridge. Near-vertical walls provide more chill space, while dual-doors offers convenient entry/exit without having to climb over your backpacking partner. Two vestibules provide convenient gear storage protected from the elements. The backpack-friendly compact folding poles and roll-top cube carry bag are sure to make this your favorite backpacking tent.

I bought this tent with the intent of using it for my self. Thinking generally a 2 person tent is a good size for 1 person and gear. But this tent can easily house two people and gear especially if you keep bags out under the vestibule. It is still very light weight and stores nicely. Unknown on Jul 19th 2016
We took out trail ridge 3 out this weekend and mother nature tried her best but we are dry and rested. amazing amount of wind and rain but our Kelty kept us dry. Very roomy for two people and gear. everything went together very quickly and without confusion due to the color coded system Kelty uses. Thanks Kelty for a great product. Love the tent so far. Easy to set up, and I love having the extra head room. It makes it so much more enjoyable having two people in there or even my dog. Rain fly kept all the rain out and tent has stayed comfortable. Can't wait to use it more and I'm definitely glad I picked the tent that I did. Brian on Jun 28th 2016
Very happy with the trail ridge 2!
It was very easy to set up, without reading the instructions? David Michael Colorez on Apr 26th 2016
The trailridge 2 would be the perfect tent for my daughter & I to hike the App trail except it doesn't offer the ability to set up the poles & fly 1st & then the tent body inside (free fly setup). This allows for keeping the inside of the tent dry while setting up in a rain storm. I hope Kelty will add this option to make this a near perfect backpack tent. Jim Leonhardt on Mar 22nd 2016
