    1. Performed Beyond Expectations

I purchased this bag for an 8 day backpacking trip to the Wrangell- St. Elias National Park in Alaska. I went in August and spent all of the trip above 3000 feet and experienced everything from high 50s to low 30s with snow. The bag performed flawlessly. It was comfortable, warm, and stayed dry at the ends with the waterproof coating on the nights I had condensation on the rain fly. Packs small in the pack and held up well. I would recommend this bag. on Oct 13th 2016

    2. Warm and Cozy.

And not the slightest bit chilly on a 35 degree night. on Apr 15th 2016

    4. Customer Review

Just returned from Otter Creek Wilderness where the temps dropped to 19. Slept under a tarp on a closed cell mat. Was comfortable throughout the night. My toes started to get cold at daybreak, and I felt a little cold spot on my hip, but compared to the outside temp, I was fine. (I sleep on my side in long underwear and socks btw). Very happy with the quality of this bag at this price. The Western Mountaineering Alpinelite is only 2oz lighter and costs more than double the price. Great Job Kelty! Now make some lighter solo tents! :-) on Nov 14th 2014

I ordered this bag about 2 weeks ago. When I got it in the mail I noticed it was thin and some goose was already coming out. I called customer service. I was connect with Sam Eissler. He did an amazing job making sure I got a new bag. He even went as far as overnighting me a brand new bag which I received today. Your customer service department is top notch. Needless to say I am very happy with my purchase. I have not used it however. It seems like it will be a very warm bag. The waterproofing at the head and toe box seem to be very high quality. I cannot wait to try it out at the lake this weekend and on the AT in the coming months. on Oct 8th 2014

    6. Customer Review

Great backpacking bag. I bought before any reviews, so I was nervous. Let’s be honest, while Kelty has a reputation for quality and value, their stuff is large and heavy and they haven’t put out much in the way of backpacking bags and tents of late. This bag does not disappoint. Very light, compresses well. I took it up to northern Mongolia in early fall when it got down to about 30, and I was very toasty. The reinforced waterproofing in the head and feet is a nice touch. Zipper is very high quality and does not snag. Comfy. Also excellent value, and comes with a very good compression sack and a storage sack. Now I just need to save up for a TrailLogic tent – they look pretty nice as well. on Aug 30th 2014

Wow! Amazing work Kelty. This is the best bag I have ever used. It packs so easily with the compression bag and it is more comfortable than my bed. I actually got rid of my bed comforter and just use this now. The bag looks so cool and every feature works perfectly. on Aug 13th 2014
