I have a Noah's 12 foot and a Noah's 16 foot. Both have been indispensable on camping trips. I use the 16' when family or group camping to provide a shelter over a picnic table or over multiple tents. I use the 12' when motorcycle camping over my hammock. It's even usable as a shelter over my hammock when being set up as a bivy with hiking poles (see picture). Loads of guy out/attachment points, catenary cuts, and attention to construction detail make these tarps my go to shelters. The versatility, quality, and packability are second to none in this inexpensive option from Kelty! Steve H. on Oct 13th 2016
I purchased the Kelty Noah - 12 while on vacation this summer and have used it several times in various conditions. My best friend and I were on an overnight backpacking trip when it rained hard for three hours strait with heavy winds and we stayed dry under the tarp!
I hadn't yet bought the (2) poles that I have now, but used a tall dead branch for the front and a ridge line between two trees. the back was low like the "Flying Diamond" setup and we were able to collect rain water in our Nalgene bottles as it ran off the corner!
I have since used it several other times in different setup configurations and I must say that the Adirondack setup is one of my favorite ones.
Note to Gordo:
I have found that if there is any sagging on a particular area that I probably need to "pull" or put tension on the area opposite to take out the slack although this might not always work, it's a good rule to start with.
I suggest to anyone, if you have the poles (or even if you don't) to do practice setups before you go out to really use this amazing shelter. danofiremano on Oct 9th 2016
I have an older Noah 12 and while I have used it quite a bit I have never been able to duplicate the tight lines I see in the ads and promos. No matter how much I tweak and adjust, one edge is always loose, saggy, etc. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed; and I can take a punch...is it me or have others had trouble with the cut of the tarp? Otherwise, excellent tarp. Gordo on Sep 13th 2016
I recently purchased the Kelty Noah's Tarp 9 to use as a rainfly for my eno and could not be happier. I was camped out at the New River Gorge for four nights and endured rain every night. Thankfully, the tarp kept me bone dry and I survived the storms in my hammock. Unknown on Jun 24th 2016
Used this wknd in Tahoe...
It rained - Everything under was kept dry
sun was out - provided shade
Super windy at times - held tight and didn't budge
So far, very glad I have this in my camping gear. jason on Jun 15th 2016
Good quality item. Didn't buy poles. Used trees first outing for three days and worked like a charm Unknown on May 27th 2016
Used this for the 1st time at a Boy Scout Camp. It stayed taunt with some pretty good wind gusts and provided a fantastic central meeting area for the Scouts. Unknown on May 4th 2016
