We ve have owned this tent for over four months. Used it about 10 times. First it will take you longer to set this up then a poke tent. It does get easier once you practice a few times second The inflatable tubes are cheaply made. Our main door started to leak and was told to find the leak like a bike tire. We could not patch because it was leaking from a seam. Very poor construction Kelly does not have spare tubes and may never get any. Your SOL if you camp a lot and have a blow out. We hope to return this tent for a Kelty pole tent. We owned and still own a MSR tent for over 15 yrs. We wanted to try this out for ease of pitching and the large space inside. I have been tent camping for over sixty years, and this is my favorite tent yet. I just bought it for a one week trip to Voyageurs Park, and didn't have time to do a trial setup--so it took me and a buddy about an hour to figure out how to get it up. However, I reckon that next time setup should run perhaps fifteen minutes, including stakes and guyouts. We had torrential rain one day/night, and the tent stayed dry. Because I had read that others had problems with pouching, I took the precaution of tying a yoke to the two wooden connectors at the top front of the vestibule, then tying the yoke to another line, then to a tree. No pouching. Al in all, a very satisfactory tent. Bil on Jun 17th 2016
Bought this tent because it sounded neat (inflates). I am amazed with the headroom. 6'1" tall and I can stand throughout tent (not just in middle) I took it out too early for my liking (cold and extremely windy) but this tent did not collapse. I was worried it wouldn't hold up as well as fiberglass poles but it did just fine. Besides being an attention getter during set up, this tent is amazing! Unknown on May 18th 2016
HUGE! 6 person really means 6 person. Didn't realize it was as tall as it is. I am 6'2" and can stand up comfortably. Just used it for a week outside Crested Butte with 3 days of on and off rain and it worked fine. Vestibule design is great. Plenty of room to store chairs and bikes and gear out of the weather. Only minor issues were inflation requires a little finessing of the tubes to get them to stand up. I would say the "55 sec setup" time is under perfect conditions. Took us about 3 minutes with one person inside tent to push up on tubes. Still really cool design. The only other issue is that the vestibule roof sags and fills with water when it rains and needs to be pushed up to drain the water. Might be better with some adjustment of the tension lines that help keep the tent tensioned. This tent replaced a Ridgeway I bought in college 20 years ago. What a difference 20yrs makes.
